Some of our users might be facing system startup issues. This blog post explains the solution to the problem.
Problem description
A certain group of Quick Heal users has reported to be experiencing system startup issues. The issue occurred after users received the update that was released on 30th June 2016 at around 7:50 PM.
Affected users
• Not all Quick Heal users are affected by this issue.
Affected language version
• English.
Affected Operating System
• The issue is not specific to any Operating System.
Cause
The issue occurred due to an addition of LNK based proactive detection during startup.
Solution for affected users
We recommend users to follow the steps mentioned below:
1. Start your computer in Safe Mode. Refer to this guide for help.
2. Start Command Prompt (Administrator mode) and navigate to Quick Heal installation directory.
3. Type Quickup.exe /rollback in the space as indicated below:
4. Once the process is complete, restart the system in Normal Mode and take the latest updates released on 1st July 2016 at 2:15 PM.
Note:
Users who are not affected by this issue are also recommended to take the updates released on 1st July 2016 and restart their computer.
If the issue does not get resolved after following the above-mentioned steps, please connect with our Support Team; they will be glad to assist you.
We sincerely regret the inconvenience that this issue might have caused. We’ve taken it as a learning to avoid similar incidents in the future.

I used my pen drive in other system. there must be virus. All the files are invisible and space was also empty. if I searched file by name, file appeared and I copied the same to pendrive. Quick heal is not able to read the virus and clean the same

I am facing a similar problem for last 5 to 6 weeks. Once the update of quick heal Guardian is finished, the system hangs and has to be forced shut down. Before shutdown, it shows the date of previous update. However, after re-start, it shows the current update date.

Since the last few days, both the control keys of my desktop are not working. As a result, I am not able to do any work using control key combined with any other key say, C, S, Z, delete, +, etc. Pressing the ‘Ctrl–Alt-Del’ keys is also not working. I am on Windows 7 Professional (32 bit) Platform. The Keyboard is Lenovo KU-225 model USB keyboard and the generic name is HID keyboard device. The driver files are ‘Kbdclass.sys’ and ‘Kbdhid.sys’ both located in directory C:\\Windows\System32\Drivers. They keys are not stuck due to dust. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers but, there is no positive result. I have gone through several blog sites but the solutions are not working. Can anybody help me in this regard?

I have 2014 Quickheal Antivirus Pro with unused key. I installed Quickheal Antivirus Pro (2016) on 10th June 2016 and used free trial ware for one month. Now when I am trying to register with the 2014 key it is not allowing to register. I tried rollback to earlier version (before update) and then register but it did not work out and it is refusing to accept 2014 key. What to do?

Because of your stupid update I had to go and get my whole laptop reformatted thinking it to be a problem with the OS since my system wasn’t starting up at all. I did not even have a backup of my files. You cost me my money and time. I want damages for the same.

i have picked-up a serious problem regarding my system.Actually the day when i installed the quick-heal anti-virus i am facing the following problem listed below
1)-In the mid of my online-work after getting started my system, it shows like chrome is not responding and screen goes white.
2)-Most of the time i use to restart my computer to work properly due to the above problem.
3)-Even it takes long time to shut down my system.
4)-Last but not the least most of the time when i plug-in the charger it discharges instead of charging which result shut down the system in mid of the work.
suggest me how can i get support from your team to irradiate these problems.

I am facing the same problem now. When ever I update(today 8/9/2016) and restart my computer it won’t start. I had to reset my windows three times and when ever I install QH internet security and updates it and restart, my windows won’t start. This is the fourth time I have reset my pc and now I am afraid to install it again. Please tell me the solution.
