Facebook Scam – NICKI MINAJ TAPE released

A new Facebook Scam has been spreading around. This scam is related to the new Hip-Hop/R&B Superstar Nicki Minaj and has the words ‘sex tape’ in order to tempt many users. As per the scam – “Her boyfriend gave this tape to a BBC Reporter”.

Once you click on it, you are redirected to a bogus BBC news webpage that has an image like a Youtube video player. Clicking on the ‘Play’ button will lead to the video getting automatically posted on the wall. The scam then gets shared with the friends of the user as well.

After clicking on the ‘Play’ button, the user will get taken to an online survey page be asked to complete it. Even after completion of the survey, there will be no video to watch.

Beware of such Facebook Scams.
