The first ever Bollywood celebrity game is out and is based on none other than the superstar who never fails to take the entire country by storm in every new flick he does.We are talking about the mobile game app called ‘Being SalMan’ whose launch was recently announced by Salman Khan. Users can play the game as Salman’s three popular onscreen characters viz. Chulbul Pandey (Dabangg), Tiger (Ek Tha Tiger) and Prem (Prem Ratan Dhan Payo). The game has been developed by Pune-based PlayIzzOn.
Here’s the official note about the app’s launch by the man himself.

And what are we here to tell you?
While the official app is available on Google Play Store and App Store, it is more than likely that fake or even malicious versions of this will show on third-party app stores. This is what hackers are good at. Once they sniff something that is a crowd-pleaser, they get on with their work of pushing fake apps to generate illicit money. A case in point was the Pokemon Go app. Soon after it was out, fake versions of it started spreading like wildfire and affected tens of thousand of users.
With over 50,000 downloads already, the Being Salman app is already a hit among the masses. And it won’t be unwise to assume or predict that hackers will use this frenzy as their window of opportunity to trick unsuspecting users. So, here’s the bottom line – avoid installing any version of the Being SalMan app (game cheats, guides, maps, characters, etc.,) from unofficial third-party app stores. Trust only the official stores as mentioned earlier.
We are following this news and will update this post in case our Security Analysts do come across any fake or malicious version of the Being SalMan app. Enjoy the game, and play safe!
