    Too little, too late!
I am a die-hard Quick Heal fan since 1999. However, I have to say, am deeply disappointed with this update.
    1. The update is too late. OS X 10.10 Yosemite was released on October 17, 2014. Your blog update is on October 21 2014. That’s 4 days too late!
    2. After downloading 425 MB of a download, the Signatures are of September 18, 2014. That’s too little. Why? We end up downloading over a month of Virus Signature updates.

I hope this feedback reaches the right people, and is taken in the right sense. You CAN NOT afford to be an ALSO company, especially for the price at which Total Security – Mac is sold.

    Am deeply disappointed!

    • Dear Mr. Rahul Thadani,
I plan to buy a new laptop in a few days time. However, I have already renewed my quick heal anti virus online for the next 3 years. How can I continue to use the same renewal on my new laptop? Or do I have to renew it again on my new laptop?

      Regards,
      Ms. Yamini

        Hi Ms. Yamini,

Once you have started working on your new laptop, you simply need to visit this link – https://www.quickheal.co.in/quick-heal-product-installer. Over here you just need to enter your Product Key and you can download and install your renewed Quick Heal product. You will not need to renew your product again as it is affiliated with the Product Key that you own. However, do remember to uninstall your Quick Heal from your old laptop before you do this.

        Regards.

      Hi Yasser,

This might be a problem of compatibility between the hardware and the software. Apple will roll out updates and patches for Yosemite from time to time. So we suggest you install these updates as and when they get available. These updates are meant to solve issues like yours and enhance compatibility for Mac users.

      Regards.

      Hi Nilay,

You need to simply update the virus database. This can be done from the product dashboard itself. Since it is a new product it will have to be updated once to come to terms with the day since it went live.

      Regards.

  5. Quick Heal Total Security for Mac is not starting up in OS X 10.11 (El Capitan). It is successfully installed but when I try to open it, it simply crashes.

When I upgraded from Yosemite to El Capitan it was working, but I did a clean install on my machine after which I installed Quick Heal, it installed successfully but while starting up the above problem is showing up.
