We’re honored to announce that ICSA Labs has named Quick Heal a 2016 Excellence in Information Security Testing Award recipient. ICSA Labs recognized Quick Heal for successful completion of five years of continuous ICSA Labs information security testing.

The Excellence in Information Security Testing (EIST) Award honors organizations that have continually tested their products and maintained their information security certification with ICSA Labs. ICSA Labs’ clients benefit by working closely with technical analysts, leveraging criteria for product development, accessing research and participating in consortia, all with the objective of contributing to improved products that benefit customers and the security ecosystem.

Upon receiving the award, Sanjay Katkar, Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer, Quick Heal Technologies Ltd., said, “For more than 20 years now, Quick Heal has been dedicated to addressing the best interests of our customers. Being recognized by ICSA Labs is a major proof point of our longstanding commitment to excellence through ongoing testing, certification and best practices.”

In addition, Quick Heal’s Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Sanjay Katkar was bestowed the honor of Product Development/Management Executive of the Year in the 12th Annual Info Security PG’s 2016 Global Excellence Awards

The awards are overseen by Info Security Products Guide, a leading information security research and advisory guide. The elite awards program, which coincides with the RSA Conference, also recognized Quick Heal’s Seqrite product line, which took home silver in the category of Security Products and Solutions for Small Businesses and SOHO.

Seqrite won based on its ability to provide everything a small-to-midsize enterprise (SME) needs to prevent internal and external threats, attacks and malicious intents before they strike and can be managed through a simple-to-use, cloud interface. It delivers cross-platform support for Apple, Windows, iOS and Android endpoints, along with servers and networks/gateways, and total mobile device management.

Katkar, who spearheaded the invention and development of Quick Heal’s core antivirus engine and has overseen its development and maintenance, was selected as a Global Excellence Award winner for his efforts to not only advance Quick Heal’s technology, but also elevate the company’s position as a trustworthy security brand in the global market.

Farokh Karani, Director, North America, Sales & Channels at Quick Heal Technologies, accepted the award on Katkar’s behalf.
