Quick Heal Upgrade 2008 has been released

We’ve released Quick Heal Upgrade 2008 for Quick Heal AntiVirus Plus, Quick Heal Lite and Quick Heal Total Security on 17th November 2007.

Users can download and apply the upgrade to get the latest protection against new threats. New features and enhancements introduced in 2008 products are:

Quick Heal Antivirus Plus 2008 / Quick Heal AntiVirus Lite 2008

• Quick Heal Anti Rootkit has been introduced. It detects and removes Rootkits from the system safely.

• New enhanced DNAScan that detects more malwares.

• Enhancements and optimization done to Scan engine which now has much smaller updates and high scanning speed.

• Quick Heal Registry Scan feature has been introduced. It scans critical system registry and other areas for the changes made by malwares and repairs it.

• Quick Heal is now fully functional and compatible under restricted user.

Quick Heal Total Security 2008

• Quick Heal Anti Rootkit has been introduced. It detects and removes Rootkits from the system safely.

• Quick Heal Total Security Anti-Spam has been enhanced. Now it automatically creates spam mail box for the mail clients like Thunderbird, Eudora, Outlook Express and Windows Mail. It will automatically move all spam mails to this spam folder.
