A research study done among Australian parents and commissioned by Telstra revealed that social networking websites are affecting their kids’ health and well being and making them dumber.

The research pointed out that 65% of the parents believe that their kids spend more time on social networking websites which distracts them from their homework.

Completely turning off the Internet access is not the solution. If you are having kids at home who are having access to Internet, it is very important to set some rules of Internet use.
